Children from infants up to age 4 can enjoy a fun and exciting environment while you learn the word of God. I strive to care for the children while they are soaking in a variety of centers and toys that we provide.
Through the eyes of a child, here is a walk-through of what they can expect when they come to church: When Mom or Dad opens the door Keturah says "Hello" and asks how we are doing. Sometimes if I'm in the mood, I give her a big hug, and she always laughs when I do. Oh, and sometimes I say "Hi" to her friend that helps take care of me. Then, we get to play with our favorite toys, and if you're shy, Keturah always helps us.
I almost forgot, Keturah will also go by "Turah", because it is easier for me to say. When all of our friends get to church we get to start painting, as we always get to paint our hands or feet. Keturah likes to hang our paintings up for Mom and Dad to see, and then we take them home for me to see when I grow up. Sometimes we get to play with playdough and cookie cutters. It's fun to squish the playdough between our fingers. Our all time favorite thing to do is blowing bubbles and then pop them before they go away.
If we start getting cranky, Keturah and her friend hold us, and tell us it will be okay because Mom and Dad will be back soon. We also get to sing to our Praise Baby DVD's. We like to sing along to the songs while it shows us neat things like babies playing, ABC's, shapes, and lots of colors. Then we clean up what we got out so we can sit down and have a snack likes Goldfish, Chex, and other yummy foods. Just about when we get done eating, Mom and Dad shows up and says its time to go, so we say bye to all our friends and Keturah.
To sum up, a whole lot of fun happens in the nursery, so come join us!
